computer would not co-operate last night for me to post, so a day later....  I really liked the gold finish on this one.  Hard to get the photo on the computer to really show the "true" colors of the paint.  I think that will be my next adventure is learning how to adjust colors to be more accurate.

I am so pleased when I have a painting turn out the way I want with a composition I am pleased with.  This is one of those.  Hope to be able to keep this going and will be doing more jacks to make a grouping since they are small paintings. 

This one is in honor of my Grandpa.  Life time farmer.  I really like the reflections of the tractor on the ground in this one.  Will have to try to incorporate more often.  The more of these I do, the more I see when I paint.  I love that!

I completed this in honor of 3 friends who are pregnant.  They are all due around the same time, I thought this would make a nice baby shower gift for someone. 

I worked for 4 days on a painting that is 12x16 (and it's still not finished), so today I really needed to complete a painting.  I really like the toys series and find it is a good release for me.  I had someone ask me today if I ever got tired of painting (especially since I try to do something every day) and I was a little surprised with my very honest answer of "no".  Painting is still my way to relax and keep my sanity, so I hope I never tire of it!

I still love painting these little people.  This one was by request of a friend who wanted her family represented.  Wouldn't this make a wonderful gift to have a customized original oil painting?  Maybe I'll be painting more of these toward the holidays?

I have been busy painting, although I did not post regularly.  Sorry, but am now catching up.  All these were requests for people.  I feel so much better that they are done, now I can return to painting toys.
