I had fun with this one. Dust on the top and paint faded. There was actually a full ladder that fits to the back of this. I think it would be best in a long horizontal style. I will order a board and see what it turns out like.

I had a wonderful night last night at the Brick Street Gallery walk. Nice weather, nice music, nice crowd. I didn't get this one finished there since I was meeting so many new people. The "We Are Family" painting received several comments from people remembering their set of toys. I have several options for these little people in my toy series (found our whole set in my mothers attic - cannot believe she kept them, but glad she did).

I'M BACK! After a much needed family vacation and orgaanization/motivation break, I'm glad to say I am back on the daily painting process. This is the first of several farmer subjects. I hope you enjoy them all.

#5 in Series 2 of 50 paintings in 50 days.
Not sure what to call this one. Funny that when I started drawing and painting I never thought of myself as a still life painter. I used to admire a good still life painting and wonder how they came up with the idea as well as execute it. Now I am having a ball doing still lifes. I still have alot to learn, especially with compositions, but I am learning and that is my primary goal.
