very productive day today!  My last painting was the Peppermint Mocha and I have to say it was the most fun to paint.  I have heard "paint what you love" so I guess it makes sense that I keep coming back to food and coffee in my paintings.

I like reflections and light and the foil on the Kiss gave me both.  Now to do more....

A nice relaxing evening spent painting this bell.  What a nice change from the frustrating day leading up to it.  I hope to be doing several more holiday paintings for gallery placement and a Holiday Art Fair I was accepted into. 

I borrowed this toy from a friend and could not wait to paint it.  I did not have this toy for my kids, but can definitely see why it would be fun :-)

Halloween is over, time to start thinking of winter and holidays!  I love jingle bells and this one reminds me of "The Polar Express".  I love the book and illustrations.  What inspiration.

Another fun Pez dispenser.  Tonight was one of those nights where I just HAD to paint.  Glad I did.  Also took some more reference pics.  More to come....

another Pez dispenser.  Couldn't decide when I found them which to get, so I got all I liked... another one to come.  Makes a nice "odd" number and I really like when these little paintings are grouped in 3's.
